Insulation Housing:
Housing material is of self-extinguishing type Engineering Thermoplastic Viz. Nylon 66. The housing is unbreakable. It is compact, and designed to give adequate creepage path & clearance.  All the current carrying parts are fully shrouded.  Window for cable entry is designed to guide the cable into clamp. Slot for marking label insertion is provided.

Terminal Insulation Housing - Material properties

The insulating material used in ‘elmex’ Universal Rail Mounted Terminal Blocks is Engineering Thermoplastic Polyamide 66 which is type Zytel 101L from Dupont - USA which is a UL approved plastic.
